Background

Founded in 1993, PLIROFORIKI TECHNOGNOSIA Ltd. (PLT) is an educational technology company, whose activities support a wide range of services in the IT industry and especially in new technologies (Multimedia and Internet services). The company offers turnkey solutions adapted to today's emerging needs for communication, from simple provision of information to interactive multimedia presentation applications.


The mission

PLT aims to play the catalyst's role in the upcoming «world of communication» of the 21st century in the educational field, facing the challenges of new communication demands by applying state-of-the-art technology, creatively adapted to market readiness. Today, PLIROFORIKI TECHNOGNOSIA is among the leading European publishers in the educational market. PLT's Educational Multimedia Software series includes multimedia titles that support school curriculum, as well as generic educational themes, combining in most cases practise with entertainment. Recognised by professionals, PLT's educational software products have been adopted by more than 100 companies or training organisations in Greece and exported to a significant number of countries all over the world: France, Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Saudi Arabia etc. PLT has established efficient distribution channels, though which consumers can purchase its products at more than 50 retail outlets across Greece.
