Question: I have bought a copy of LogoTehni which was working just fine until I’ve erased it recently due to a hard disk upgrade. I have tried to re-install the program, but I have received an error message while the ccmove procedure was in process. How can I re-install the program?

Answer: Three titles, LogoTehnis, Physics Kinematics and Multi-Logo, have a copy-protection. These copy-protection program, is copying two hidden files from the diskette to the path of the title in the hard disk, at the in end of the installation. Once the two hidden files are copied, the installation disk cannot perform a new installation. The diskette also contains the program ccmove.exe which with the user can transfer those hidden files back to the installation disk. ATTENTION!!! If the files are copied back to the disk, the program in the hard disk, will not run. To run ccmove, you must shut down your computer in MS-DOS mode. When you are in the DOS prompt, you must put the installation disk in your floppy drive, Then press a: and the cursor will switch in drive a:. The syntax of the ccmove.exe is as follows:

A:>ccmove c:\multi\artist(for LogoTehni) a: if you haven’t installed your LogoTexni Physics, Multi-Logo in the above directory then type the path you have installed your program.

Please note that from April 1, 1999, the copy protection program will be removed from the titles of LogoTexni and Physics. If you have bought a copy and you don’t find any ccmove program in the disk, means than the program is not copy protected. As a result you can perform as many installations as you like without following the above described procedure.

Q: When I am installing a program from the diskette, I am receiving an error message which says that the installation program cannot find some files and it’s interrupting the installation.

A: Be sure, that you have typed correctly your CD-ROM drive’s letter when you are prompted by the program, secondly make sure that you have also put the Multiland CD in your CD-ROM drive. To complete the installation successfully, you must have both the installation diskette and the CD in their drives.

Q: When I try to install program I’m receiving the error message “Abnormal program termination” and the installation is aborted.

A: The diskette is probably contains a lot of unrecoverable errors and it’s no more functional. Contact with the Technical Support department in the number (+301) 61.25.880/81 in the hours 15:00 - 17:00, Greek time, in order to replace it.

Q: When the ccmove program is starting at the end of the installation, an error message appears and says “Disk is right protected” and the installation is aborted.

A: Make sure that the lock/unlock tab of the disk, is in the unlock mode. If it’s already unlocked, then probably the disk is not functional or there is incompatibility between the copy protection application and Windows 98. As a result the diskette needs a replacement.

Q: I want to install the program, but in the CD the only executable files are the demo.exe and the demogr.exe. Where is the install program?

A: For the time being, only three Pliroforiki Technognosia’s titles are CD-only versions and those “Spazokefalies”, “The magical walk of Curious Julious at Delphi”, “Ancient Lands Quest” and the LangMaster series. All the other titles apart from the CD they have an installation diskette in order to perform the installation. Be sure that except from the CD you have searched for the installation program also in the diskette.

Q: When I’m trying to install a LangMaster CD, an error message appears, which say that there’s 10206 error? What does 10206 means?

A: The LangMaster programs are installing some fonts of their own in windows\fonts directory. The 10206 error code is appearing when the installation program cannot install LangMaster’s fonts. The limit of the fonts that can be installed in Windows 95/98 is about 953 fonts. Go to the Control Panel -> Fonts and check if this limit is reached. If so, then remove some fonts in order LangMaster can install it’s own. For additional information on LangMaster you can find them also at http://www.epaonline.cz/lang_mr/lm_faq.htm
